An independent magazine on Post-natural Evolution
Co:evo, Coordinates of a Post-natural Evolution, is an independent, interdisciplinary magazine that explores the co-evolution of nature, humanity, and technology, promoting critical and creative thinking about the complexity of the present. In an era where the boundaries between natural and artificial are increasingly porous, the magazine investigates the interconnections among the multiple dimensions of contemporary life, tracing a post-natural evolution in which technology becomes an integral part of the ecosystem.
Each issue takes shape around an action verb, selected as an active and shared principle capable of crossing— reversibly-the human, the natural and the technological realms. Issue 01, Imitating, explores imitation as a creative and transformative act, spanning art, science, education and technology. In a time shaped by ecological crisis and hyper-technologization, Co:evo does not advocate a nostalgic return to nature, but rather a conscious progression: learning from life to envision a future in harmony with the planet. A future in which imitating does not mean reproducing, but regenerating. A future that, in the density of its contradictions, we can build, nurture, heal and protect.
